An SVP of Sales with ~1,000 reps shared their biggest challenge with me:
"I wish our reps were better at multi-threading."
Here's what they're running into:
⛔️ Reps are single-threaded in a ton of deals
⛔️ Deals are in commit stages that really have no chance of closing due to lack of access to power
⛔️ Internal execs are joining sales calls to team sell but quickly realizing the right players aren't involved on the buyer's side yet
So here's the problem...
If you're simply asking: "Who would feel left out if they weren't invited to the next call?"
You are adding ZERO value to the buyer.
Your job is to educate them on how to buy and get a great outcome from your solution.
And that's best done through:
1) Social proof
2) Stakeholder validation
3) Recommended next steps
