Kyle Vamvouris shared this take on the Outbound Squad podcast.

He's built 87 sales teams at Vouris, trained thousands of reps, and coached thousands of founders.

His take?

AI will remove almost all the busywork reps do. Increase their effectiveness and conversion rates substantially. And lead to a world where sales teams only need to be a tenth of the size.

It's a HOT take for sure that I don't fully agree with. But we had fun jammin' on it together.

I think we'll hit a limit on how many live calls a rep can run. Just for their own mental health.

I mean, if you could run 8 hours of sales calls with highly qualified buyers back-to-back every day, AI handles all the follow up, etc...would you even want to do it? Could your brain handle that?

Same argument for sales managers. I don't think AI will lead to managers taking on teams of 20-30+ because reps are more self-sufficient. It's too many direct reports.
