Look, you ain't booking a meeting with 3 emails and a LinkedIn connection request.
Multi-channel has been PREACHED for the last 6-7 years.
But so few reps actually follow this in practice.
Especially you, AEs (not to pick on you, of course).
✅ Here are the basics
1) Multi-day. Must run for at least three weeks.
2) Multi-touch. 12-15 total touches (6 emails, 6 calls, and 3 social)
3) Multi-channel. Response rates increase by 3.24x when you combine email + phone + voicemail + social (Gong).
Then layer in these techniques:
✅ Point voicemails to emails.
Contact rates increase by 25.8% when you leave a voicemail (Orum 🥇). Asking for a callback is harder for the prospect than asking them to look at your email.
Leave voicemails with a call-to-action similar to this: "...I'm going to send you an email here in a minute with the subject line 'Hi David, just left a voicemail.' This is Jason with Outbound Squad."
✅ Double and triple tap.
Mix multiple channels together in unison when possible. Call, leave a voicemail, and then send your email. Or queue up your emails in advance to go out during your call block. The goal is to stand out to your prospect.
This technique increases contact rates by 3.1x (Salesloft)
✅ Follow the engagement.
Focus the majority of your “personalized effort” on prospects opening and engaging with your emails.
✅ Bump emails.
Leverage the “any thoughts?” or variations to bump the first email of your sequence.
Breakup emails increase reply rates by 89% (Gong)
✅ Optimize the days/times of your emails and calls.
Look through your sales engagement platform’s data to call when pick-up rates are the highest and to email when open/reply rates are the highest.

Outbound is WAY hard already. Don't make it harder for yourself by not being persistent.
